GCSE Maths Equivalency Testing

Getting a grade C in GCSE maths

Maths GCSE Equivalency tests are for students who want to enter the teaching profession, but have not been able to obtain neccessary "C" grade in their previous schooling, to enter the course.The equivalency test is accepted at most of the major teacher training centres. Contact us to see if yours is included.

Home study, distant learning courses, are fine, but there is no substitute for face to face tuition. This maths course is structured over a 10 lesson period covering all the required syllabus topics culminating in two examinations which are sent away for independent marking.

Cost for 10 lesson face to face course, is £200 with the exam entry at £110. You must travel to Mathsmadeeasy in Toddington, Bedfordshire to attend this course. The duration of the course is adaptable and the ten lessons can be arranged over a five or 10 week period. Courses can start at any time following this equivalency test syllabus

4. Angles and Shapes Isosceles triangle; angle rules;
internal & external angles;
circle theorems;
5. Number Patterns; Pie Charts nth term; drawing pie
6. Transformations enlarge; rotate; reflectenlarge by 2 or 1/2; rotate 180 degrees;
reflect in y=x; nets
7. Areas and Volumes Area circle; circumference; prism volume
8. Graphs, Straight Line, Quadratic and Cubic Equation of line; plotting quadratic;
